The testo 160 E belongs to the testo 160 data logger range, which was developed especially for the particular requirements in museums. Thanks to versatile options for combinations of integrated sensors and probes, any monitoring situation, from exhibitions and storage right through to transportation of collection items, is covered.
Operation and programming of the data logger is simple and carried out directly via the Testo Cloud.

Monitoring temperature, humidity, lux and UV radiation with WiFi data logger testo 160 E

The easy-to-use WiFi data logger testo 160 E adapts perfectly to your climate monitoring requirements. It offers 2 connection options for probes (please order separately) for temperature, humidity, lux or lux and UV radiation.

Measurement data is stored by the data logger via your WLAN directly to the Testo Cloud. If limit values are exceeded, you will be notified immediately by email or (optionally) SMS thanks to the alarm function. You can access all measuring values and analysis functions at any time and from anywhere with an internet-capable smartphone, tablet or PC.

The WiFi data logger testo 160 E – adaptable and discreet

The small dimensions of the testo 160 E (64 x 76 x 22 mm) and its simple design enable it to be positioned easily in an exhibition or display cabinet. In conjunction with the optionally available customisable deco-cover (see accessories), the data logger can be adapted to blend in with the surroundings and therefore remains inconspicuous. This means your exhibits will always be the focus.

Perfectly networked: with the WiFi data logger testo 160 E and the Testo Cloud

The Testo Cloud is the core operating element of the testo 160 data logger range. You can use the testo 160 E to store your measurement data in the Testo Cloud via an available WLAN. Here you can configure your WiFi data loggers, set limit value alarms and analyze your measurement data.

You must first register at www.museum.saveris.net to have access to the Testo Cloud. Installing the system is simple and can be carried out either via a browser or with the testo Saveris 2 App for IOS and Android.

Depending on the desired range of functions, you have a choice between the free Basic and more extensive Advanced functionality for use of the Testo Cloud. You can use the Advanced functionality, for example, to create up to 10 users per account or set an SMS alarm if limit values are exceeded.

The internal data store capacity of the WiFi data logger is 40,000 measuring values, and the housing is protected according to IP20. The standard batteries have a lifetime of 12 months and can be replaced at any time by users. In addition to measuring air temperature and relative humidity in rooms and ducts, the thermohygrometer is also suitable for checking air conditioning system humidifiers. When you use the testo 605i in conjunction with the testo 805i infrared thermometer, you can clearly identify areas susceptible to mould via the traffic light principle, with the assistance of a measurement menu that is already stored in the App.

Measure more efficiently using the App

The testo 605i wirelessly transmits the measurement data via Bluetooth to your own smartphone or tablet. With the testo Smart Probes App installed on your terminal device, you can view your readings conveniently. The app also enables the dew point and wet bulb temperature to be determined automatically. All measurement data are presented either as a diagram or a table. Finally, the measurement data report can be e-mailed directly as a pdf or Excel file.

The testo 616 professional moisture meter provides you with a precise and non-destructive means of measuring moisture in wood and building materials and of monitoring the drying process after water damage. Simply select the characteristic curve and place the meter’s measuring claw against the material’s surface. The meter shows the moisture content as a weight percentage compared to the dry weight. Press the relevant key to save the reading to your meter.

Although the measuring claw only comes into contact with the surface, wall or flooring, it is able to determine the moisture content of the wood or other material down to a depth of 2 in.
